Our Academics
Teach 2 Reach offers quality after school and summer academic enrichment programs to Kindergarten through 8th grade students in the Los Angeles County. Teach 2 Reach was conceived out of a need and commitment to offer quality educational and enrichment experiences to children and to increase academic success outcomes in fun, innovative ways, which aim to build the capacity of all children to become student scholars.
Teach 2 Reach incorporates traditional and non-traditional instructional strategies to engage, motivate, and excite students about learning. Our program incorporates review and reinforcement of grade level standards to improve content mastery and performance in core curriculum areas. Our goal is to ensure students retain and apply grade level skills, discover their own individual learning styles, and build confidence in the learning process.
Our holistic approach to instruction aims to aid in the social and emotional growth of students. Each student is provided with strengths-based group and one-to-one instruction, homework assistance, and school project completion guidance designed to specifically support individual learning styles. We encourage proactive, positive teacher communication and self-help skills. Our professional staff develops a school, student, and parent partnership to improve communication, buy-in, and collaboration in the learning process.
Since 2007, Teach 2 Reach has successfully implemented and operated after school and summer enrichment programming to over 1000 children in Los Angeles County.
Teach 2 Reach participants and alumni have maintained above average and advanced grades, have an improved outlook towards learning and enhanced confidence in the learning environment. Teach 2 Reach students are transformed into prepared, motivated, and excited scholars.
