Learn A Little About Our Founders!

Charmoyne Gibson is one of the co-founders of Teach 2 Reach Enrichment Program. She has a strong background in child development. She began her career at Tender Care Child Development Center in 1984. Her love and compassion for children kept her on a path of nurturing and cultivating hundreds of young minds. She was blessed to expand her horizons and become a part of Wilders Preparatory Academy Charter School. When she first began, it became the most challenging adventure she has ever experience in her educational career. However, it's the most rewarding of them all.

Charmoyne received her Associates Degree in Child Development and my Bachelor of Arts in Education. As a leader, her goal is to inspire the team to empower our youth's minds. Charmoyne encourages ALL the scholars to help showcase what it means to place their best foot forward in all that they do (i.e. homework, sports, and life lessons). Children are gifts and possess diverse talents and capabilities. Daily, she empowers them to be the best versions of themselves in order to get the best results from any situation. She considers it a privilege to help facilitate a great learning and academic program. Charmoyne also believes each student learns in their own way and style. She makes a personal commitment to provide a safe and nurturing environment where each student can have the opportunity to experience success and progress.

Charmoyne Gibson's leadership style at Teach 2 Reach is to empower others. It is her goal to help encourage the staff as well as the students to look beyond the four walls of our programs and view the world around them as a place of learning and discovery. By doing this, Charmoyne hopes to instill in children a desire to become lifelong learners.
